DIY Roasting Sticks

Guys! These DIY Roasting Sticks are my favorite DIY. EVER. (at least for now)

DIY Roasting Sticks

The wooden ones are made out of part of an old stair railing!! I’m a bit of a wood hoarder, so I’ve had these railings in my garage for years just waiting for the perfect project.

Using a miter saw, I cut them down to 6″ pieces.

Then, I sanded the edges and added some stain and acrylic paint. Then, a quick coat of polyurethane to finish them off.

The metal sticks were only a couple dollars each and they were already the perfect length! To attach them to the handles, I simply drilled a small hole about an inch deep on the top of the handles, added a little glue and stuck the sticks in.

The antlers ones were made the same way. I’m a huge sucker for all things taxidermy/oddity-ish, so I had a few antler sheds hanging around. I just added some acrylic paint, drilled the holes and glued the sticks to them.

I am so happy with how they turned out and I was surprised at how quick and easy they were to put together! Not eating an entire bag of roasted marshmallows proves to be much harder!

Have you tried my S’more Shots, yet? What are you waiting for??

Happy Roasting!
